Geographical Identity: Barguna Sadar Upazila is located in the southern part of the country's Barguna district on the south coast of Bangladesh. Barguna Sadar Upazila 454.39 sq km. Border Betagi Upazila of Barguna district, Mirzaganj upazila of Patuakhali and Bamna upazilas on the east, Amtali upazila of Pagera river and Barguna district, Bay of Bengal on the south, Bishkhali river on the west, and Patharghata upazila of Barguna district; barguna sadar, 01 municipality, 10 union, 03 thanas, 53 mouzas and 191 villages.
